We hope everyone is having a great week-end! I certainly am, and as I’m enjoying a strong cup of coffee on a quiet Sunday morning (and no, it does not happen very often), I’m also compiling what we’ve been reading this week…Here’s the 411:
- It’s officially Black History Month (although for us, every day is a part of Black History), and HelloBeautiful writes about the new postage stamp honoring pioneering New York Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm;
- Black Enterprise tips us off on 5 good reasons we are the prime candidates for the job, and don’t even know it, while also whispering in our ear that pre-grad is really the new post-grad in terms of positioning ourselves for success;
- Essence shares with us how to dazzle on a dime;
- Daily Worth tells us about 10 habits of high net worth women, while giving us a few hints as to how to handle tough conversations at work;
- The Daily Muse asks you how much time you’ve really wasted on Facebook (hum!);
- I can’t wait for Spring, and neither can Angie from YouLookFab, as she lists for us the 15 trends for Spring 2014;
- Lifehacker teaches about the Rule of 3 for daily, weekly and annual productivity (I’m trying it!);
- Black Girl Nerds re-launches the #BlackFuturesCampaign especially for Black History Month. It’s an online forum hosted by Black Millenials Musings to promote the voice of young people of color.
Happy Reading, and happy Sunday! And enjoy the Super Bowl…
