New York Fashion Week wrapped up a few days ago, but the fashion is still blazing hot in our minds for Fall 2017. There were countless trends that popped up during New York Fashion Week 2017, some of which caught my career fashion attention.

The Power Suit

 After Hillary Clinton brought back the power suit during the past elections, it was back for New York Fashion Week. Like this Classiques Entier wool-blend one-button suit from Nordstrom.  

Seeing Red Hot!

The power color is back for the Fall, and it is on fire! It’s also perfect for a statement-making work wardrobe you can take from desk to dinner! Like this Banana Republic pleat-skirt shirtdress , or this statement red-hot Tory Burch “York” buckle tote.

 

 

Velvet

Velvet is coming back with a soft vengeance this year! While I’m not a big fan of covering yourself with velvet from head to toe, I like to offset otherwise casual wardrobe items with original velvet separates… Like this Elie Tahari Antoinette velvet blazer from Saks Fifth Avenue, or this elegant cap-sleeve velvet top.
