Apparently, gingham is the It print for Spring. I remember sporting it back in the days in designs I’d probably hesitate to step out of my car in these days. Yet, I have to admit the checkered print and warmer relative of plaid has been rubbing me the right way after I saw some pretty romantically springy designs on the Fall runways, from Altuzarra to DVF. Hence today’s week-end pick, this Joie “Cartel” check cotton shirt from Nordstrom.
Loving the “debonnaire-chic” look of this casual-but-not-too-casual shirt, that can be paired with your lazy pair of jeans on the week-end. I can even see it gracefully tucked in an elegant pencil skirt, or some relaxed trousers for work. This shirt is $188 at Nordstrom.
